The Farmington Area Goodfellows Holiday Assistance Program is completed for 2013. We will start planning our 2014 program when school starts in September.
During the winter, spring and summer months, the Goodfellows will be collecting canned/boxed foods, paper products and personal care items to stock the Farmington/Farmington Hills Neighborhood House Food Pantry.
Year-round collections boxes are at: Farmington Hills City Hall (W. 11 Mile Road), Farmington City Hall (Liberty Street) and the Farmington Public Library (downtown Farmington location only on Liberty Street)
From Monday December 1, 2014 - Friday December 19, 2014, The Goodfellows will have need of canned/boxed foods, new toys and new books to help support our annual 2014 Holiday Assistance Program for families and seniors living in our communities of Farmington and Farmington Hills. We will have collection boxes at both Farmington City Hall and downtown Farmington Public Library located on Liberty Street in Farmington, Farmington Hills City Hall and the Costick Center located on West Eleven Mile Road in Farmington Hills.
Applications for the 2014 Holiday Assistance Program will be available in October 2014.

FREE MOVIES AT THE FARMINGTON CIVIC THEATER DECEMBER 6, 2014 will be during the DDA Holly Day Celebration with a donation of a new toy, new book, monetary donation and/or non-perishable boxed/canned food items.

The "Battle of the Middles X" Basketball Game featuring the teachers and administrators from Dunckel and Warner vs. Power and East will take place in December 2014 (date to be determinded) at Farmington High School at 6:30 pm (doors open at 5:45pm). Check our web site calendar for details, suggested donations and locations for each of these and other local Goodfellows events.
We expect to once again serve over 400 children, families and seniors in Farmington and Farmington Hills this year. Our all-volunteer efforts rely on the kindness and generosity of local residents and businesses to serve the most needy in our community in these challenging economic times. We are in need of donations of canned/boxed non-perishable foods, new books, and new toys. Cash donations are also critical to our mission. We are a 501c3 public charity, and donations are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by IRS regulations.
