The 2015 Holiday Season

Our mission is: "No Child or Senior without a Christmas".

We expect to once again serve over 400 children, families and seniors in Farmington and Farmington Hills this year. Our all-volunteer efforts rely on the kindness and generosity of local residents and businesses to serve the most needy in our community in these challenging economic times. We are in need of canned or boxed non-perishable foods, new books, and new toys.

Cash donations are greatly appreciated and critical to our mission. They are used to purchase gift cards to local grocery and clothing stores for our families and seniors in need of assistance. We are a 501c3 public charity, and donations are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by IRS regulations. Donations can be mailed to:

Farmington Area Goodfellows
31455 W. Eleven Mile Road
Farmington Hills, MI 48336

During the winter, spring and summer months, the Goodfellows collect canned and boxed foods, paper products and personal care items to stock the Farmington/Farmington Hills Neighborhood House Food Pantry. Collection boxes are located in these city buildings and local businesses:

Farmington City Hall
Farmington Hills City Hall
Farmington Community Library (Downtown Farmington branch only)
Costick Activities Center, 28600 West 11 Mile Road, Farmington Hills
All Talmer Banks
Beaumont Hospital Botsford Campus, ADM/Education Building, 28050 Grand River Ave, Farmington Hills
Fitness 19, 23296 Farmington Road, Farmington

We began planning our 2015 holiday program has started now through Wednesday December 2. Each November & December, the Goodfellows need canned and boxed non-perishable foods, new toys and new books to help support our annual Holiday Assistance Program for families and seniors living in Farmington and Farmington Hills. Most of the holiday donations come from collection efforts at our schools. In those months we have additional collection boxes all Farmington Public Schools, the Costick Center located on West Eleven Mile Road in Farmington Hills, and several local businesses.
