Canned/Boxed Food Drive
Monday, November 5, 2012 through Wednesday, November 21, 2012
We are asking that every student please bring in at least 3 cans of non-perishable food for our biggest collection drive of the year. All food that is collected is distributed to families in need in our community.
You may drop off your cans at any Farmington Public School, the Costick Center, Farmington City Hall, Farmington Hills City Hall or the Farmington Public Library on Liberty Street in downtown Farmington.
Farmington Civic Theater
Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Farmington Civic Theater in downtown Farmington
(Grand River Avenue, just east of Farmington Road)
Admission is free with donations of new unwrapped toys; new books: bag of non-perishable canned/boxed food items; and/or cash or checks (made out to the Farmington Area Goodfellows) will be accepted with a huge thank you!
Tthe Farmington Civic Theater also donates one-half of all concession proceeds to the Farmington Area Goodfellows.
"The Polar Express" (1 hour and 40 minutes) - 10:00 am and 1:00 pm
"Shrek the Halls" (21 minutes) - 10:15 am, 11:15 am, 12:15 pm, and 1:15 pm
(2011 totals were: 72 new toys, 175 boxed/canned goods, $228.00 cash donations and $383.25 concession sales)

Battle of the Middles VIII
The Staff and Teachers from the NORTH Team (Dunckel Middle & Warner Upper Elementary
Schools) will play the Staff and Teachers from the SOUTH Team (Power Upper Elementary & East Middle Schools) in a charity basketball game.
Bring: New toys, new books, canned/boxed foods and cash donations to help families in need in our community around the holiday season.
Location: Farmington High School (Shiawassee & Orchard Lake Road)
Date: December 14, 2012
Time: Doors open @ 5:45 p.m. and the game starts at 6:30 p.m.
Admission: $5 for adults, $3 for students/children, $1 with donation of 2 or more canned goods
